makes me think maybe bad emmc file? is the file populated? what size is it?

The emmc file is 1.731.092 kb, means around 1.7 gb. I cant download anything from phoenix, it doesn't give me the option to download any firmware file so that's why I downloaded those directly from mr crab and inserted on the phoenix file.

Yes I followed exactly what you said, but phoenix doesn't give me any download option. Anyway, just closed winflash and opened it again and it flashed all the way through but it gave me the original error:

Ok, just did the cmt flash with the fw 1.3 according to the phone sim tray but it still gives me the same error.

What version of phoenix do you have? If phoenix and win flash do the same thing than the result will be the same anyway, whichever program I use. What do you think? Any more ideas on how to proceed?

Didnt have time to read all the previous messages, but you of course have tested to cold flash with -c flag. Phoenix will not help you.

You might be just a lucky one that has bought used device with broken CMT hardware, so you will never get phonecalls to work, but you can use it as wifi device or as spareparts to your next N9 phone that you buy.
