Updated Mupen64plus GUI version via App Manager and now when trying to start a new game in Zelda OOT i get the "SIGSEV Signal" Error. Any possibility to downgrade or will someone finally solve this??

I believe this has been addressed a few times in this thread. From memory you have to remove the configs and then run the game from command line. I suggest doing a search for that message within this thread to make sure.

I deleted th eentire folder then i have installed the new gui version. Using terminal i start zelda oot but always get the same signal error...

running command line version did NOT work
zelda always gives an error now,

on a side note, tactics orge or whatever its called works now

Is the current Zelda save important? Try delete the save file:

cd .mupen64plus/save/
ls

Look for Zelda save in list and type

rm <savename> (Hint: press Tab to autocomplete)

And try making a new save.

Unfortunatly this doesn't work. Seems that new version isn't compatibles with zelda oot...

I don't know if I got a bad ROM or something, but I've also tried everything that was previously mentioned but I cannot get the game to work. How hard is it to make your own ROM? I still have the game cartridge from years ago sitting on my bookshelf collecting dust.

Works perfectly fine for me.

Does running from xterm work?

mupen64plus --nogui /path/to/rom/romname.z64

Tried deleting savegame and running it from term. It says segmentetion fault. At this point it's the rom file...
