Hi smoku I will install this once I free up some space. I will do as you suggested and move directories using Symlink. However before doing so will this somehow affects updating or uninstalling an application?

Of course I realize that this process must be done agan with a firmware update or reflash. But what about when updating an application or removing it? Will all target directories be updated or removed?

Thanks. I will vote this to extras once I install it.

uninstalling - you will be left with moved data and need to remove manually
updating - you will need to remove the /opt/maemo dir again and change the symlink again

But I consider this port complete, so the next release will be with new upstream release.

That's what I was afraid of. Well I'll do it anyway.

I still have problems with a strange mouse arrow behaviour. After a short time the arrow is at another point than my touch and it is impossible to hit a specific button.

I've been playing hours now and did not experience anything like this.

Hi smoku could you tell me what I am doing wrong?

I tried moving openarena from /home/opt to /home/user/MyDocs and it wouldn't work. I tried to keep permissions and all the same:
Code:
cp -r /home/opt/openarena /home/user/MyDocs/Games/OS/
rm -r /home/opt/openarena
ln -s /home/user/MyDocs/Games/OS/openarena /home/opt/openarena
and I also tried 'cp -p'. I did manage to move the 300MB to MyDocs, but then OpenArena wouldn't start.
