sorry for being a noob but, what do you mean you used app-get? where can i get it?

First: I don't recommend doing this if you are a noob without Linux experience.

But what it means is got to xterm (press ctrl+shift+x for example) and type for example the command: apt-get install offscr-solitaire

It fetches the package from an online repository and installs the application. Instructions for adding the required OVI repository are earlier in this thread.

Do not do this unless you understand what you are doing, so please Google and research this beforehand!

First you must install rootsh, to get root accses in the x terminal.
If you have rootsh go to x term an type:

root
apt-get install offscr-solitaire

or offscr-speedometer for the other appli

i've installed both cube and solitaire. Are these optified?
As ever, once it's official, I'll uninstall and re-install the official one, makes it easier for updates.

The apps are optified.

For training you can type:

I'm not sure, I've installed a few of them and now trying another and it says not enough disk space.

Well, I'm seeing their files in /opt/offscr*... However, when you use apt-get, be sure to check your /var/cache/apt/archives for any leftovers...
