there is a function on many android phones and some of the nokias(5233 if im not mistaken)

on the virtual keyboard you can drag the stylus on the keyboard and it will recognize what word you are trying to write like a swipe word complete(dont know the technical term for it)

searched the forums and didnt seem to find this particular feature any where..
any chances it could be made available for the N900

+1 for this. i love using it in nitdroid, so fun!
its spelt swype by the way, with a y.
but your only option would probably be to email/ask the swype people to port it to maemo.

eheh apps are free but developers have to pay the bill and eat something

well let see what others have to say about it .
for sure we cant leave developers to pay from their own pockets
