Tried editor version.. Still sucks (old core engine, way behind the iPhone) and still far superior to opensource things.

It is trial again, do i have to pay extra?

Yes, DocsToGo doesn't offer anything we can't do with AbiWord+Gnumeric and FreeOffice.

What I'd like to see in the N900 is the SoftMaker Office Suite. That is a real office environment with presentation editor, very good support for both MS and OpenDocument, save to PDF, and a lot more.

Yes, it has basically the same functionality, but DtG is lightspeed fast compared to abiword and koffice.

What i'd like to see on the n900 is *latest* DtG core engine that is almost 100% compatible with MS and OpenDocument and still that fast.

You need to unzip the .install file out of the .zip file to install.

Yes, I know I did. What happens is I download a 4.5 meg file, and then upon install of that file it says unable to install.

libqtm-systeminfo missing?

Maemo.org Extras needs to be enabled to download that package. On the screen that asks you to confirm installation you can click details and then "Properties to see what is missing.

Ps: NC is my old stamping grounds. Hope you are enjoying it.

PPS: Just tried it again after a reboot, and now the download size 3.96 megs. Still getting an unable to install message.
