To summarize for those of us who may be interested:
No WLAN,
no camera,
and RTC alarms may be important if they turn out unfixable
yet...
...but such details may get sorted out we might dare hope.

To summarize from the table that was linked: it is the best after nexus 5, and unless I'm wrong it took a little while in comparison to nexus 5 which is still king after Sony Ericsson Xperia Pro (iyokan) that has no reds and just a couple greys. Considering fairphone just got started and is already 2 red squares away from the uber-portable-open-by-google-and-what-not-nexus... looks like this is something that could get alien dalvik for a few $. Future is bright

Or for no $ you can compile liar 's sfdroid (as well as following my instructions to get the android services started in init rc) for the fairphone and get that working (still very alpha quality, but it's something)

Nexus 5 with Sailfish is king, but still unusable for a daily phone.

why inusable for daily basis? i use jolla almost without android, since i turn off alien dalvik service .we need only navigation app, dont we?
but i have a couple of questions : the xperia mentioned above run sailfish better then n5?
this little while porting it to fairphone is due to its openness or something else?

Bluetooth constantly disconnects, audio issues - sound stop abruptly during ringing, the call itself without sound too. This with the recommended CM version And I need calls during the day.

EDIT: Of course, there are also the occasional boot loops and battery depletion issues, but those are mostly rare.

I don't face the issue listed here on my N5. Only issue, is sometimes, for some calls I receive, there is a strong ring which warns me the connection failed.

To me, the most annoying issue is the sensors framework which crashes on a regular basis, but that's not a deal which prevents me to use the N5 as my only phone.

This seems to be quite impressive!

Only camera missing.

I think I will buy one.

Ps.
Jolla -> do what ever it takes to get Fairphone as your partner!
It would be nice if Fairphone would start selling phones with SailfishOS!!

By the way.
When there would be some instructions/ROM available for installing Sailfish on Fairphone2?

I would not want to buy phone and just keep it in some closet.
