They have mentioned that the name is just "Jolla"

I've heard the next model is going to be called "Jolla Eponymous", just to end the confusion for Dave999 and the two other people who call it jPhone.

That would actully be a better name than just jolla since the compony is also named jolla. But they are a bunch of tech guys and that's great but they should hire the three marketers.

Apple...it was another time, another market and in away another world.

Copy a brand characteristics is one very well used market strategy and you see it everyday in commercials.

I think you missing the point. jPhone, sPhone and so forth is not what I'm looking for. Samsung have so strong names associated with their phones that only the name galaxy and note sales more phones then jolla could ever dream on. That will not work with only the name jolla.

Not if your brand specifically want to be seen as different, which Jolla does. Or did you miss that?
