To turn off the Service mode you need copy to any blank usb pendrive formated in fat32 file Lv2diag.self from FILE 2 folder (from this archive http://www.sendspace.com/file/qlfoyi) and insert in right usb port of PS3. Turn ps3 on and then off.

so here it is
1. download the attached file.
2. extract it and do not bother reading the readme file.
3. uninstall any psfreedom(0.6 or other) from your n900.
4. plug in your USB cable, choose Mass storage mode and copy the 3 files in the zip file to the root of mass storage.
5. go to app manager and download rootsh
6. unplug USB cable
7. launch x terminal and type
sudo gainroot
cd MyDocs
sh psfreedom-enable-maemo.sh
8. plug in USB cable and connect to ps3
9. remove power cord, reconnect it and press power and immediately eject
here u r
my ps3 3.41 always starts in servicemode now, even when nothing is connected and whithout using the power+eject trick..
my phone is now free from every psfreedom file, and restarted. now i download the 0.6 verison and install it on my n900.
when i press jb mode pl3modules the led gets green, jb mode hermes modules the led remains red and it always jumps to service mode. language switches to english and the resolution seems to be very low.
