Well even if the SPECS says it has it it doesn't mean it is fully supported or optimized to be as fast as the standard allows. For example people here has said 3G works better on N9 than Iphone. (Just one example)

Dont saying SGS II is less good here, but we have seen it before how the specs doesn't work in reality...

So we need REAL testing. Specs says nothing...

Phones like the SGS2, with HSDPA+ will support a theoretical max of 21Mbps.

Both run on Telstra's "NextG" Frequency @850mhz, however makes no real difference as Telstra throttle their network to give a real download speed between 500Kbps and around 3Mbps.
Phones like the SGS2, here in Australia will never really get to utilise their theoretical maximum speeds, as the Telco's will use bandwidth throttling to maintain network redundancy (and thus save money on investing in infrastructure upgrade works)

Whilst it seems like our friends across the water like to market HSDPA+ as "4G", do the Telco's there actually support this with real maximum speeds on the Frequencies they run on?
If not, HSDPA+ may not be of much use after all.
T-Mobile is the same. My N900 contract T-Mobile was capped heavily. They capped my speed (Web n Walk) at around 300kbps which is pathetic. The annoying thing was that their cheaper Android contracts came with (Web n Walk+) which was uncapped. I actually called them and complained about this but got nowhere in the end. Don't really understand T-mobiles strategy after they renamed web n walk. I don't even think they offer Web n walk+ anymore so they just choose which phones contracts they cap and mention nothing of it

Dan, I don't even want to know where you get down to need 3G/4G, hopefully not on the train otherwise I'm going to be highly suspicious of anybody who opens a broadsheet and uses their phone.

The dev working on usb host mode was making progress until he detected significant differences in the N9 from his dev device.

http://forum.meego.com/showthread.php?t=4610

So he needs an N9.

Wanted order it on the swiss online-shop "Mediasky", but I asked them before via mail how many they have ordered from Nokia and how much they have sold till now, because it seem's that Nokia will produce not much of them and so they probably will get no more device from the producer.

I've got now this answer (google translation):
"Unfortunately, the product is sold as stated in our. We can thus also not to order. Nokia produces this product no longer there, you're right,"

Here's ovi store on the N9 and I see you can pick more than one language for the keyboard.

I remember Eldar would talk smack about Nokia not being able to implement an easy language switch for the keyboard in the past like Iphone. Well that is certainly an easy way to switch now.

Hey, need some quick help from someone speaking Swedish, as I cannot figure this one out 100% sure with Google Translate:

On Telenor.se the N9 is available without contract, and there is a sidenote on it: "Telefonen är inte operatörslåst."

Does that mean it unlocked, or is it locked to the operator?
