Funny thing is, just less than 4 hours later (after 10pm Central), my order status got updated. Amazon tells me to expect delivery by 9 Dec. With my requested 2-day shipping, that means they expect to ship my order on Monday, 7 Dec.
I'll be happy if that's the way it plays out!
P.S. No credit card charge yet.

I got the same type of email from amazon stating my order status change to a Dec 9th "estimated" delivery ( order date was the Nov 30 ). After the whole issue of them cancelling my order from Sept 17 and me having to re-order, I thought this was a result of them making amends by pushing me up the line, but I see every body is getting it. Which to me means, they must be expecting another batch that hasn't made it there yet but if according to plan, does make it, they hope to ship out some time soon like the 9th.

YES!!! my order is coming to me!!! My baby N900. Finally Amazon you saved me from killing myself. OH by the way guys, I won't be on too often for a while, my Phone line got DC so I have to get a new Phone line connected and reconnect my Internet. I'm using this from the Internet Cafe right now. lol
My stupid DickfukingHead Uncle disconnected the phone line without letting me know, Now tomorrow I'm going to get my phone reconnect but with a different account. So he can't disconnected it. :-)

Amazon has also removed their N900 from the list now. And they linked the third party to their original listing. However I heard about AmazingWatcher.Com which is a free website that will “watch” items for you on Amazon and let you know when amazon has them in stock at regular retail price.http://www.amazingwatcher.com

i order on the 23rd of Nov too but havnt gotten the email from amazon yet...although when i check the status of the phone it shows estimate delivery dec 7.i hope i get it by then....=\
