My USB port has broken off inside, and is wiggling/dangling in and out of my phone.

I can no longer charge my phone, I can't even connect it to my PC to backup my phone either. It's my birthday today, what a day for a brand new phone to break on.

Not at all impressed.

you really should have epoxied it .. its really easy opening the phone and assembling it. but now you're stuck needing someone with skills to either put the broken unit back on or get a replacement. oh well

I filed down, bought a metal nail file from Publix, a micro USB cabled I got from Compusa and now it glides into my N900 like butter. Strange that I had to do this for such an expensive phone but it is what it is I guess.

Who' s running this POLL?
Just wanted to know if they were looking to file this with Nokia? (with 88 pages it difficult to get the right info).

Im just thinking, if we can determine the Micro USB broken/failure rate on other devices compared to Nokia N900 that might help the petition.
