this thread is to long to read but if any of u still having trouble with the sixaxis controller connecting with the n900 this is what i tried bout 4 days ago and i used it before http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=66704 hope this helps

You have to pair the controller to your n900. click the link in the very first post.
Also, be aware that the bluetooth address you enter in sixpair is case sensitive, i was stuck for a while until i entered it in lowercase, as shown in my 'about this device' screen on my n900...

You do know that your supposed to execute the commands in your computer and not in your N900, right? Are you sure you are following this guide:
