Yesterday, I put up a firmware image to show to the SmartQ5 people and put it on mer-chatter as well for the other SmartQ5 developer to have - and 12 hours later it's on blogs with pictures (http://www.jiongtang.com/blog/digita...firmware-beta/ ) , heavy discussions, finding kernel source, boot loader, etc..
Those chinese are efficient.

I see that you don't think so. Does it harm the project from your point of view?.

So, I have a lot of appreciation for Nokia's ability to keep things under wraps now.

So I pointed out "technically, it's Mer, not Maemo". I hope that confusion doesn't end up hurting Maemo, Mer, nor Nokia.

Perhaps this is a case in point in support of penguinbait’s proposal to separate off Hackers from Maemo.
Having different forums with different names , that way there is no such confusion.

As you go on to other communities, remember to build them around politeness, respect, trust and humility. Be wary of poisonous people and deal with them before they end up killing your community.. Seen it happen to too many IRC channels, forums, open source projects.
