You can find the files in the eMMC root, easy way to retrieve them is connecting the phone via USB to your PC.

Thanks.

Hello

I sent you the files you asked for.

The weird thing is that this was only the second time I got bluemaemo working even with removing both devices from both ends and connecting from scratch (although after pairing bluemaemo just said "waiting for connection..." even though the connection was established. Pressing "back" and "reconnect" made it work, once). Reconnecting worked, as always, but the ps3 did not respond to any commands, as always.

Thanks for all your efforts,

Slarti

Hmm guess I'm too dumb to do that. It doesn't work for me, but then again, this is my first Linux device. Can anyone post an even more detailed explanation. Thanks in advance.

Btw is there anything else we can do to support you? Have you gotten to the bottom of this?

Guys I remapped the buttons in PS control. I thought it remapped the Playstation keys to the hardware keyboard on the N900. (I then found out that the keyboard is not yet supported)
I did change all the keys settings and now they don't work

Is there any way of reverting to default settings (I tried reinstalling but the key mappings were the same)

In case there is no way of doing so, can someone give me the original mappings so that I can fix them

The PS control was working before I changed the mappings

Easy way, in a x-shell:

1- sudo gainroot (requires rootsh)
2- cp /opt/bluemaemo/data/bluemaemo.cfg /etc/bluemaemo/

people having problem with N900 not working on PS3 after pairing:

solution is quite easy...

just set your standard controller to OTHER than no.1.

have had this PS3 bug quite often, lots of games have controller isuues when the controller active is not set to No.1 in a game.
as result, controller will work half, moving around in games work, but all buttons are dead.

when the normal controller for your PS3 is set to 2,3,4. the N900 will be set as controller no.1 on the PS3, solving this stupid (PS3) bug.

I doubt that the BlueMeamo itself can do anything about it, but its easy to solve by users this way.

-- edit--
initially BlueMaemo did not work at all for me, after setting PS3 controller to 2 and repair all seemed to work fine.
however, after reboot/disconnect the devices can be reconnected in BlueMaemo but nothing works , gui comes back but controls just not responding..

only a re-pairing solves the problem (temp until app closes)

Yea just echoing pennywise's experience

It works if I:
1) set controller to slot 2 (first option in accessory settings)
2) register bluemaemo

but after restarting bluemaemo I can't reconnect. Actually remember having the more or less same problem with the PS3 and the N810. I guess the PS3 is just not fun to connect with.

One thing to add: the 'start' button doesn't appear to work even when the other buttons do. Obviously kind of academic when reconnecting is impossible, just thought I'd mention it.

Anyone else noticed that it stopped working entirely after the recent firmware update (pr 1.1.1)?

Can you please check the version that you've installed (go to uninstall and look there) ?
Seems that the repository had some issues and the last versions of BlueMaemo were removed 0_0.

Does not work with playtv and the menu button only works in certain specific circumstances. Otherwise this would be a great replacement for a remote.
