I posted this in an average thread but wanted to put similar here too:

I am going to:
- run with it to work on the trails around here and keep training log (e.g. on MapMyRun) - eCoach is a start on this but doesn't quite do what I want, yet. Working on my own solution (see coding below)...
- use it as a research tool for a project I'm working on
- take notes in meetings and on the plane/train/whatever
- review papers and write reviews
- edit my own stuff on the fly
- write and give presentations/lectures when at conferences, etc.
- play games on it when bored
- call home (Skype for preference) when away
- get where i"m going in a different country or part of my country
- listen to music, watch the odd movie
- code on it (this is exciting, it's been a while since I did
- use it as a docreader
- get frustrated with it
- show it to people and get them excited about their own possibilities

True, but I believe if you drain it before charging it then it will take longer to reach its full capacity. At least the manual always recommends you fully charge the battery before use.

I will charge it and configure all my email and voip settings. Then I will find as many desktop widgets necessary to make it feel like a home I can snuggle in. Then it shall snuggle in my pocket

I'll plug it in, turn it on. If it turns on, then charge it, while configuring.

Some may not want to, but maybe they have to...

I hear some people are locked into using IE for work-related web-stuff because of activeX (or what's-it-called) components that are not available with other browsers.
