Sounds great. I don't know anything about Python, but I'm quite an expert in Java.
EasyList is prepared to use services other than the one on my own web domain. You can point it to any URL you like. I think however that I need to create a proper list container protocol first (probably based on XML). A protocol which supports multiple lists. Then when that protocol has been released. Everyone could in theory create their own service with which EasyList can sync.

I love your app.. It's very useful.. Before web site, my wife sent me the shopping list by sms and I was always need to edit this on the phone, but now by web site it's very easy Thank you..
Maybe you could create a desktop application that would be even easier ?

I have a question, I created a list on sync web, now I have this list on my n900 but if I try to remove some items and use sync button, the items reappear. Is it corrected?
