.........
Rebooting the phone helps for a day or 2 but then the problem is back again.
Removing the widgets makes the problem dissapear completely.
Any ideas?

I've uploaded to repository a new version (0.2.7) of NextAlarm with some memory leaks fixed - but I haven't tested it (You know why...)
Please try it and report if it still consumes memory...

I'll surely look into it. But now I'm unable to do anything - because my N900 is in service (microUSB connector broken...)

too bad: memory usage even higher with the latest nextalarm release, and another bug: when rebooting the phone the settings window of nextalarm is always showing.
htop reports 7.6% memory usage from nextalarm widget and 7.1% from the digiclock widget

I've been using digiclock and nextalarm widget for a while now and I think the widgets are great but I noticed a problem since one of the latest versions of both widgets:
For some reason it consumes more and more memory.
I use the widgets as a night clock, have them both on a separate homescreen with black background. If I remove them from the screen my memory usage is a lot lower than when they are running.
And sometimes memory usage is so high that other programs wouldn't start.
Rebooting the phone helps for a day or 2 but then the problem is back again.
Removing the widgets makes the problem dissapear completely.
Any ideas?
