Lol, yeah :P
Btw, I heard the cafeteria at the Nokia HQ in Finland is the best one for quite a few miles. Useless info, I know, but just wanted this thread to serve some purpose

The posting of an official date is always regarded unofficial, regardless of whether it is from an official or someone non officially associated with someone official... hence my previous comment.

If the person does know this for sure, thats good news cause it's real soon, if it's not a real date, then surely this person has probably already got what he wanted by capturing the attention of both the community both officially and non-officially associated...

I have officially worked and supported forums that involve software releases and patch releases and I know there are a couple of ways people get things done.

Spoofing as if from the company to gain momentum or a so called petition thread to encourage the business to bring about what the community is expecting.

I guess we'll all find out in just a week and a bit... and do we so cordially crown the unofficial releaser and credit them for creating anxiety and tension for a release we all want undeniably or will the other unofficial Nokia representatives win the day... stay tuned

I find this thread funny.

On a more serioud note, I hope the update that comes on the 11th has Windows Mobile or Palm o/s so I can run some applications on my paperweight (n800).

FYI I knew the launch date of the N800 down to the hour, and those who were here at the time know very well I tortured them by not providing concrete details.

That was THEN. This is NOW. Your contacts dried up as you admitted earlier in this thread. Mine are cutting edge... coming right out of the horse's mouth. Looks like there is a new sheriff in town.

Dear Lord (who, just for the record, I don't really believe in...)

.
I could care less about the exact date it is to be released than what it contains.

I would really hope that the promised Skype support is included.

I am also really hoping that it will support SDHC cards! As a total and complete NON-Linux user I didn't attempt to install the patch for SDHC support already officially or unofficially released as, like I guess most average users, I have not the foggiest idea how to go about it.

Can't wait to order a couple of 8GB SDHC cards (anyone want to buy one of my kidneys?)!

The last time I heard anybody talking like this, I was fixing a computer in a middle school.

So I guess we now know he's married to a horse.

Or did I misunderstand his source?

R.
