Best hope at this point is that there's a WP7 phone using the N950 shell or similar derivative and that we can flash or overwrite the OS with Harmattan or even Freemantle (which would be my preference right now).

I said big NO. I've got n900, many bugs, but no updates. Nokia must proves support for n950 wont be aborted, and I wouldnt miss any feature what the hardware could handle.

Though that's not really specific for N950 as it's about N9 also.
If you wanna steady updates, harmattan is not the way to go. Nokia's actions have made it clear.

As of me i'm buying N9 and i don't think i would get N950 if the specs where exactly as it is now. I'm just not as attached to qwerty phones as i once was. Having qwerty to me is still a plus so if N950 had the same screen as on N9, then i would get N950.

i think it also depends on how much it will cost... if nokia would want eg 800€ for it, would this change the situation for the "yes" voters?

how much would you all pay for it maximum?

If it's available for free. And even then I doubt it will last long in my hands due to buggy software

I'm going on record to say no because the N950 does not have

1. NFC
2. N900 IR functionality
3. N900 FM functionality

The N9 is not an option for me because it does not have a hardware keyboard nor the aforementioned features.

On the other hand, if Nokia comes out with, lets say a N975, with the aforementioned features, I'll buy one without thinking. However, I won't be holding my breath for that to happen.

Hmm I would really like to have an n950,
I like the sleekness of it and would like to update from my n900 to something similar. Android and iOS is out of the question
