There are many strange with QOrganizer API functionality.
For example there is command to set Event as "All-Day" - but it is not work as expected (if set only Start time (it must be 00:00) for event and this option - then we get those incorrect behavior). For now I have to set End time = StartTime + 1 day (without that "setAllDay" command).
Also there are commands to set Tags and Comments for Event - but these commands just do nothing

Can someone that still is on PR 1.0 please report back if the application adds such an entry to their menu? Thanks.
I'm still on PR 1.0 - my version .93 shows a blank green icon on the apps screen

Now that the to-dos get a new life in my daily usage, thanks again for that, I find the they are missing one very important functionality. That is, to give the option to snooze them.

Sometimes (read as: most of the times), I cannot fulfil them in the time they notify. Then I would like to snooze them for a given time.

Is there the possibility to provide something like that from your menu (the one that pops with a long tap on an event)? Something like snooze for 15 min, 30 min, and 1 day would be sufficient I guess for most. When one of those option gets selected then the date/time of the reminder gets changed. Just an idea..

On another note, all my to-dos' reminder times are +1 hour. My timezone is GMT+1 and I think I have it correctly set in both the phone and outlook settings. Also when I open the to-do the reminder time is correct (without the extra one hour).
I will check more and give a better report, but I was curious if others have this too.

Thanks for letting me know - I have already created a different version and submitted it to Nokia last week. Still waiting for it to be accepted though.

Not that I know of - the menu is provided by the home screen (which I think is closed source - not entirely sure though).

Do you mean that the displayed time in the feed is incorrect? I'm not sure what the due time is set to (which I am using for display purposes) but I think it's set to the same time on which the event was created.

The QtOrganizer module is somewhat strange that's why I have decided to use libmkcal directly.

Just documenting here my finding (not useful for the time being, but I do it anyway):

I've just checked all date time fields available in one of those todos in outlook and none of them relates.

It cannot be the creation time because this is way off (for this event it was 16:18).
The reminder time is the only close candidate which in outlook is set to 10:00 and on the events feed shows as 11:00.

The most strange thing though is that if I go in this event in the phone's calendar and change it to another time (let's say 12:00) and sync it with MfE in the event's feed remains at 11:00 even after a refresh.

2 chillipAlso I've added option to show age in "Comment" - that is the only field where I can write additional information through the QOrganizer API. With this option there will be written birth Year - so You can extract it and calc actual Age to show in Feed.

p.s. New version can be obtained from my page

Hey just tried the updated app. Good stuff. However, I've noticed the calculated bithdays are off by one year except they are this year. Any one in 2012 is back by one year. Don't know why. Just thought I'd mention it

Actually this issue is discussed here...

Obviously not specific to just the appsformeego app.

You are right - that's my mistake.

Ok interesting, it doesn't show on my N950 with Week 39 Firmware.

I have worked around it by giving the application which is shown an Icon & Name which shows the control panel menu when clicked (I need the .desktop file for URL handler registration as well).

The odd thing is that Nokia themselves are using the NotShownIn value to hide some of their own applications (at least in the SDK).

I'll look into it (I am definititely not setting the reminder time but the time returned by the API but may change that to the reminder time in the next version).
