You're gonna have to read back a few pages mate... I GUARANTEE you'll find an answer within the first 10 pages you read back from this post

indeed, I can understand why they might want to roll out regions differently, for all sorts of purposes. but I don't really understand why they can't publish a schedule. even a provisional schedule of which variants are rolling out at what points.
Given the size of this update, I'm not that fussed to grab it immediately, but come 1.2 I can see people will get much more frustrated being 24+ hours behind the curve picking up some big new features/fixes.

If Witter isn't working for you, eg crashes/doesn't start, gives errors etc etc. Please run it from x-term using:
run-standalone.sh python2.5 /opt/witter/witter.py

This will generate diagnostic output. Without this I cannot help you.

nothing to do with carrier. I bought mine unlocked from Nokia, so it's the generic uk update I'm waiting for.

I am in the UK on vodafone and I got the update yesterday a few mins after it was released.

But I do have a US handset. I guess they are discriminating.

hehe, not really discriminitation...

The status is

Both UK upgrades are waiting still... 203 and 205.
One is a voda version, the other is a general UK unlocked one. (But that is kinda irrelevant)

People do have the option to reflash to the global version if they are desparate for the upgrade, but personally i can't see a reason to do that.
(Search the wiki for flasher for info - if you really really want - generic warning applies!)

If you have a rootfs, or low memory issue with the upgrade - search the wiki for rootfs - you will get a lovely page full of advice and tips..

If you don't know where the wiki is, it is here
(Just pre-empting on that one i feel!)

And for clarification. There is no news on when it will be released in the uk, and there probably won't be. Please be patient
