Ugh.

I installed Mint... 10 I think?, then Mint Debian Edition.
But I did it too soon, an early release, so the distro upgrade path still pointed to Mint 10 and when I ran update I was back in Mint 10 all of a sudden

So, I hope the upgrade is not like that.

If they had been developing a time machine for quite a long time one could assume that they would eventually succeed. As such a machine can infinitely traverse the quantum thusly it exists in all times past present and future simultaneously ergo the icons were used in the video before they were designed.

Capice?

Hehe, interesting. I use Mint 10. It's quite nice. I'd go for the debian thing but I'm to busy/lazy to bother.

There was a reason to upgrade, some reason why I wanted in the rolling distro, but I no longer remember what it was. :B Maybe it was because I too am lazy, and didn't want to keep installing Mint 10, 11 etc, when I use it so rarely.

No the upgrade is like upgrading from chair to sofa
it is much more comfortable doing power user hacky stuff with more horsepower even though it is feasible on device 600mhz as its stock clock
P.S the thought of a 1.5ghz dualcore oc'ed to 2ghz makes me jump up and down (it would also probably double up as a mini oven/microwave(useful for borrowing a friend battery draing it 5min then returning it dead kind of pranks ))

What kind of chair? I need a good chair more than I need a good sofa, but if they're different enough I could use both.

N900 from day 1 wasn't super fast. It was smooth with nothing installed but after a while, animations became visibly choppy and even loading up Settings took a few seconds. I felt the need to tweak & overclock within few weeks of getting the N900. My N900 is visibly quicker compared to a stock N900. (I run mine at 1.1GHz) I've never had stability issues nor any battery life issues.

Also, the fact that N900 drops frames even while recording video, taking a long time installing/uninstalling apps is pretty bad. The new SGS2 takes around 1-3 seconds literally to install or uninstall any apps. But yeah, I sold my SGS2 and still kept the N900 due to its hw keyboard, multitasking and MicroB. N900 rocks.

That makes around 800px WIDE

Given the error margin, I'd say 720 px and Zehjotkah was incredibly on topic!!

Yeah!

Are you sure? Did you discounted the black bezel? I'm betting on 854x480, since it's no different from my 4 icon wide grid in my SGS (800x480).

There's no way a V there will be just 6px wide and still well defined like that (?)
