am I correct to think the nexus prime / ice cream sandwich has a multi tasking view? I see an icon on the quick launch bar which showed a grid view. If this is indeed true then it changed things for me. Quick/effective multitasking is my top requirement from a device.

Apparently it does, it also looks like a mix of N900 and N9 UI.
Multi-tasking grid view, plus the option of adding widgets etc.
I have never been an Android fan, I use my N900 on a daily basis, and for the record I can afford to buy both but can't see the point of having 2 phones.
I suspect that as nice as the N9 appears (I have yet to hold one - thanks Nokia UK), the Prime has better specs, better support and significant developper interest...
Sigh, if only the N9 had come out in early 2011.
