Thanks rash. I have a UK version and I have received all of the firmware updates I believe.

However I did it via the command line after installing rootsh and it worked fine. I am now up and running. Thanks for the help.

I unzipped all files to /home/user/MyDocs/Sygic (instead of /home/user/MyDocs/) .

That's not a problem if you edit the path in /usr/share/applications/hildon/sygic.desktop.

So no one else has any problems with map lagging behind for 50-100m?

Use vi or mcedit. If it's too difficult for you, install Midnight Commander (name: mc) and lunch F4 for editing mode.

Esc on screen for editing mode

Esc on screen for quit editing mode
