Do you have something like that in your xmms profile? That line starts xmms, opens the play list window and begins playing a song when I press the audio lock button. You can put any xmmsctrl options in there.

Nope.

I didn't know that I could add this line.

Code:
- launch xmmsctrl launch play play_list 1
Thanks.

You are still using the original syntax and this could have something to do with why it doesn't work for you. Change your profile and let me know if it still has problems.

Okay. I missed when you updated the command structure for this.

I now have:

Code:
- launch xmmsctrl launch play play_list 1
plus exec xmmsctrl next
minus exec xmmsctrl previous
fullscreen exec xmmsctrl pause
It works!

I got this error on the screen though after unlocking the tablet to take a look at it.

I think we need to launch it with that Language setting like we've talked about before.

I'll look into this right now.

Can you help me reword this chief?

This is what I'm trying to do I guess from what you've told me from before.

/etc/asui-audio-lock-profiles/Xmms
(sleep 2; xmmsctrl launch main 0 play_list 1 play) &
LC_MESSAGES=C
LANG=C
plus exec xmmsctrl next
minus exec xmmsctrl previous
fullscreen exec xmmsctrl pause

Okay.

I now have this.

- launch LC_MESSAGES=C LANG=C xmms ; sleep 2 ; xmmsctrl main 0 play_list 1 play
plus exec xmmsctrl next
minus exec xmmsctrl previous
fullscreen exec xmmsctrl pause

Everything works (previous song/next song) when the screen is locked but it doesn't play any songs.

What simple thing did we miss on this?

I have found 1 minor bug. Whenever I reboot my tablet, I have to redo my entire custom layout. It's not a major issue for me, but I just thought you'd like to know.

While i can't say for sure, it seems that booting my N800 using the charger do not get the MCE issue (screen fades to black as pr settings and so on). By this i mean that the N800 is fully powered down, get the charger plugged in, boots to ASUI charging screen, and then i long press the power button to go on to full maemo boot. Using the latest test version.
