Leather Case or Aluminum Metal Case for Nokia 770

I would like to hear some pro and cons ; them are from Pdair, both at 28$.

If smbd can share experience pure practical not cosmethic point of view/use.

Thanks in advance,

I have the Brando aluminium case, which is very nice.
But my favourite is still the Nokia slide-on cover,
in combination with a Casio QV-100 foam slip case.
This slip case, made for an ancient digicam, fits the 770 perfectly.

From a practical point of view, the Nokia slide-on cover is the winner,
followed by the Brando alu case IMHO.

In both cases, you can use the 770 w/o having s.t. other laying around.
I haven't tried a leather case so far, as they were all heavier and thicker
than the Brando case, and plain ugly:-)

I have the aluminium case too. It provides excellent protection without the bulk of a leather case - much easier to slip into your pocket. I use the 770 as an MP3 player in my car and the case protects against the usual knocks. It also has two slots on the inside cover to hold two additional memory cards, so now I always carry 6gb's (3x's 2gb cards) worth of media with me

I use the case logic small external hd case found at CompUSA. The 770 fits perfectly under the strap and the other half has a storage area that is plenty large enough for me to store the cable, 3 memory cards w/ extender, a card reader and the nokia bag that came with the unit. The case is reinforced, so it offers a bit more protection.

I was considering the aluminum case, but wanted the ability to store extra goodies. The case logic is as wide as the 770 and about 2 1/2 to 3 times as thick as the unit. It was well worth my money to have everything I needed in one case with a small form factor.
