Would it be possible to get an application like google maps for cell phones, or google maps for the iPhone on the n800. I know maemo mapper exists, but how about something sleeker and simpler. Any chance of porting the iPhone version?

Thanks!

i'm not sure what you mean. MM is sleek and simple. The iphone maps is just google maps, MM is sooo much more. Gnuite is working on getting POIs working better with MM and it might be closer to what you might be thinking. Be patient, He is working as hard as he can on making it realized.

MM is a great application but it isn't sleek and simple. Google maps on the mobile phone is simpler.

i would be more interested in someone finding a way to port the iPhone version to the n800, as opposed to converting MM to work like it.
