Hey All,

I experimented with the dual booting and decided that I was fine with having the system on the flash. In x-term, I put in the comand to automatically start from flash, which removed the bootmenu unless I hold down menu at startup. Without having to re-flash my 770 running the newest os2006, does anyone know of the proper procedure through x-term to remove the boot menu and "booting from flash" text entirely. It is not really an option I wish to keep at this point. Can the boot menu be uninstalled? Thanks!

Good luck to you on this query. I in essence asked the same question a few months ago and got no response. Since then, I've decided to keep my dual-boot option so as to preserve an operating system that I've ultimately made to work to my satisfaction, as opposed to a newer one that'll most likely again gum up some application I'm currently fond of.
