UPS dropped off my n800 an hour or so ago. I love the smell of fresh electronics!

Charging... Charging...

Thanks Debbie Downer. The sky is not falling in my neck of the woods though.

Come on Garage, let's not make the guy feel bad.

I still haven't bought my N800, and I hope a new one is coming real soon, but please don't make it outrageously expensive, otherwise I'll just go with N800, as U$220 for a device that does all that is just an awesome price.

Exactly my sentiment and reason for purchase. Now, if the new one comes in UNDER $300, then color me stupid (although some Craigslist rube will pay $220 for my n800 there anyway ). More than likely, the new one will have a higher price point for early adopters.

I've been burned too many times by BRAND NEW tech. I have learned to avoid the world of iPhone Apple Store credits by standing on the sideline for a bit.

At the $239 price point the n800 does all I need. Kind of like when I bought the 770 for $120. It seemed a heckuva lot more attactive than the n800 at $350+ (until I found the flaws in the 770).
