This has been a really annoying point for quite some time now for me.

Ive been bouncing back and forth between gadgets, trying to find the best combo. With the gadgets im using, here are the problems:

1. AT&T Tilt: great list of specs, but horrid to use as a phone. 320x240 resolution doesnt help its case. Fate: sold on ebay.

2. Archos 605: plays lots of formats of video, but sadly the screen is very hard to see in the daylight. The built in browser is useless, as it is a battery drainer and offers no bluetooth. Fate: undecided.

3. Asus EEE Pc: great bang for the buck, fixes several problems I have with laptops in general. It will be great for having a full computer to take with u, just a tad bit bigger then my pocket though. Since I cant fold it into a tablet, hard to say where this one will fit in. Fate: unpurchased, undecided.

4. Nokia N810: I love the built in GPS, and the built in keyboard. Sadly, since I dont feel it puts video/mp3 as a priority, I cant combine two gadgets yet (N800 & Archos) and replace both. So now it means not only will I need my Archos to stay car mounted, I now have to car mount this as well.

Fustrating at this point...i know I will love the n810, but ill still be waiting for that integration point. Mixed emotions, none with a great solution.

Nonsense. You can never have to many gadgets. You either need bigger pockets, or something like a messenger bag. Or take up photography (more gadgets!) and then you can stull everything in your camera bag and no one will know that you are actually carrying 3 video players, 2 cell phones, a Nokia 810, and a small laptop.

Haha - like the way you think Howard Swiveling my head round my office confirms it - you can never have too many gadgets

Incidentally, although video\mp3 playback may not be it's primary focus, I've found watching movies (after re-encoding) and listening to music on the N800 a very easy proposition. I can only assume that it will be the same on the N810 so maybe you can consolidate your devices
