Hello, Everyone.

I am a complete Linux newbie who is attempting to install OMWeather-OS2007 (0.91.1) on my N800 (OS2007).

(I selected this file from garage.maemo.org: [omweather 0.19.1. armel.deb])

Although it registers as downloaded and begins the installation process, the Application Manager appears to be unable to install this package.

Besides the standard applications, I have only a few applications loaded (maemopad and FBReader) and I recently installed a 4 GB SD memory card.

Does anyone have any idea what's going on here and how I can successfully install what appears to be a very cool application?

omwether is a home applet, it's not visible through the application menues.

Instead you click Home on the home screen and select the first entry, which should read something like 'select applets' (my unit isn't in English so I'm guessing at the translation). There you can tick omweather, after that you'll probably have to edit your layout to avoid overlaps.
