rdesktop 0.4 crashes 70% of the time on connect for me under OS2008. Launching from the terminal to get some more information, I get this error when the program crashes :
The program 'rdesktop' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadWindow (invalid Window parameter)'.
(Details: serial 19 error_code 3 request_code 12 minor_code 0)
When I connect successfully, I get a different error on program exit:
The program 'rdesktop' received an X Window System error. This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadAtom (invalid Atom parameter)'.
(Details: serial 7673 error_code 5 request_code 23 minor_code 0)
Running rdesktop with --sync from the terminal, I avoid the crashes 100% of the time, but with performance penalties & drawing artifacts. I've also had some success with running the more recent build posted elsewhere, but I'd like to be able to right-click, save settings, etc.

I'd be very happy if the two clients could be combined (the bug fixes from the more recent build plus the features from the "offical" build). Any help?

You can get right click functionality with command line version. See info at end of this post :

Saving settings would require scripts or a utility like kerez or the new gcrm port.
