What the post says. Sometime today, I lost the "offline mode" option from my power menu.

I can't for the life of me figure out why. I've looked in the systemui.xml file, and that looks ok, as does the mce.ini file.

I've searched the forums and internet, and haven't found anything.

Thanks for your help!

Ok, I just answered my own question.

There is a file called "/var/lib/mce/mode" that needs to have either the word "normal" or "flight" in it. Mine had neither.

I simply edited it, and put the word "normal" at the top of it, and "offline mode" showed up again magically, and appears to work.
