Hi. I recently purchased an N800 and used the Nokia Updater to upgrade to OS2008. I've now found that FBReader has some serious issues with OS2008 and would like to downgrade back to OS2007. I've searched the forum but didn't see any specific threads on this topic.

Thanks in advance.

What issues are you having? The runaway paging bug has been fixed in the latest version, and the finger tap settings (min 50, max 90) that someone posted here seem to work really well. The developer has a newsgroup for bugs/comments, if you've spotted other bugs. I posted over there about the runaway paging thing, and he fixed it within days.

No, the standard Windows* flasher will work. First, simply download the last version of OS2007 from Nokia's web site. Then, when the flasher offers a "Change" button to select a firmware release other than the latest OS2008 image, use that to select the OS2008 file you just downloaded.

* The Mac OS flasher should work too.
