Has any of you bought your N800 or N810 through Amazon.com ?

If so, what was your overall experience ?

Would you recommend buying N8x0 from Amazon.com ?

I'd like to know your comments on amazon.com regarding purchases of Nokia IT's. Both good and bad experiences are welcome as I need to decide if using amazon is a good alternative.

Thanks in advance.

I purchased mine through Amazon right before Christmas; no problem with the transaction. The IT shipped quickly and arrived within five days or so. Unfortunately, like many others here, mine has the flaky power on/off issue. Not Amazon's fault, in my opinion; hopefully a sofware fix is just around the corner. (Til then I'm just not powering down as I normally would...)

I guess I'd recommend purchasing through Amazon. Go for it.

I purchased mine from Amazon.com (Im in the USA) Great experience. Arrived in 4 days. Purchased on a Saturday, arrived on Wednsday. I paid $230 after rebate (signing up for an amazon.com credit card which gave me a $30 credit-- this was in november)

I bought my N800 brand new so I cannot comment on used N800's

Every experience I have had with Amazon has been great. Never a problem. I would say its a safe bet to go with Amazon.

I bought my N800 off amazon back in early November, and it was going to be shipped to Housten (Inside the US) for my dad to pick up when he got there and bring it back.

Two weeks after I ordered it they emailed me and said they delayed it until May 2008. So I canceled the order and got it from circuit city, and got it within the week.

So, overall, my experiance was pretty bad, but I ended up getting it cheaper somewehre else.

Yep I grabbed my N800 from amazon as well, I'm in Australia and it arrived in just under 2 weeks, nothing wrong with it at all, no damage to the box or the unit so I was quite happy
