Hi, I just got a N800 with OS2008 and I was wondering, how can I record videos with it? Also I'd like to know if its possible to use userscripts availabe at userscripts.org... Does this little browser feature addons/extensions ?
OMG so many questions I've found some answers already but not to those above... sorry, and thanks!

I don't know the current state of video capture, but if you google for "maemo greasemonkey" you'll get the answer to your second question. Ah, hell, here's the link: http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&ct=re...pusj5HdFJ8rYCA

Pro tip: looking for "foo" for the N8x0 Nokia Tablet, try googling for "maemo foo"

Regarding video recording I found these:
http://www.mdamt.net/node/174
https://garage.maemo.org/projects/camera/

Both report crappy results. But I watched on YOutube a guy making video-conference and sound and image was really nice. Maybe it's possible to get these codes and redirect the media stream to a file, since "everything in linux is a file"... but that's a long shot from me...
