I'm running N800 with OS2008 and after updating to Beta2, couldn't get music to play in audio or podcasts to play or update...and then it crashed in the library menu and needed killing.

found this fix in the feedback thread and it works perfectly now:

Log in as Root,
Remove canola (logged as root )

apt-get -f remove canola2
then remove all the other dependencies:
apt-get --purge --force-yes -y remove libevas0 libecore0 libeet0 libembryo0 libdownloadmanager0

reboot (full reboot without power cable attached)

login xterm as root, then:
apt-get -f install canola2

exit.

all should be good

Great. Exactly what I needed. I must have had some old Canola beta stuff on my unit even though I didn't have the application anymore.
