Hi all,

I'm not a fan of the bar that pops up at the bottom of the screen when I'm using the keyboard, offering completions for words I'm typing / showing the status of shift and caps lock ("abc" / "Abc" / "ABC") -- I'd rather have the screen space. Is there any way to turn it off?

Thanks.

I don't know if it's possible, but I'd like to second the request. I just got the N810 two days ago, and that's number one annoyance so far.

Numbers two and three are keyboard backlighting and scrollbar in the terminal window, which I'd also like to get rid of. Ideas, anyone?

That was it.
On the Languages tab for Text Input, click the 'Settings' button for the language. Then deselect the checkbox for 'Word completion' and probably 'Next word prediction' depending upon exactly what you want.

Click the '?' in the upper right if you want to get the help description for those options.
