Hi all,

I've only had my 770 for a few days now, and love it! However, there are a few video streaming sites I like, and most use Flash 9 or Divx Webplayer. Any chance these can run on the 770?

Thanks!
Oy.

On a related note, I thought I read somewhere that someone got Flash 7 to work on the 770, but for the life of me I can't seem to dig the info up.

Any tips?

Thanks!

i am not sure if mplayer works on the n770 but you CAN play divx steams via mplayer. you need to run it from the command line. i am on the tablet and don't have the link handy but you can find the info in the doco for the mplayer on the project page.

some streams are too much for the tablet but you can re-encode the video yourself if it is covenient. i use Divx encoder to re-encode for my n800.

According to this page, gnash was just released. It supposedly supports a lot of flash features, including youtube.

A build for the 770 shouldn't be too hard, but I'm not sure what you'd need to do to get the browsers to use the plugin.

A possibility..
