"The Nokia N810 seemed to be a buggy device. Our first review unit had trouble installing Skype, and our second came with the app preloaded. "
That is a quote from someone reviewing the n810...interesting...
I picked up an N800 about six weeks ago, and haven't had any problems until now.
I upgraded to OS2008 with no problems when I first got it, using my PC (running WinXP). However, now when I try to run (and reinstall) the Nokia Internet Tablet Software Updater to reflash the OS, I keep getting an error in DotNetInstaller, saying it's encountered an error and must close. I get this error four or five times during the install, and also when I try to open up the application.
I'm at my wit's end...I know it must be a PC software issue, and the only workaround I can come up with is to update the N800 on someone else's PC.
Has anyone else encountered this problem?
Thanks,
