Doesn't work here on E51 & N810, the error I get is: gn_gsm_initialize failed on "Identify phone". It appears as an information note. Any tips on fixing this or do I just have a too new phone?

Sorry about that Gnokii-GConf 0.5.3 is out and should correct your problem (if it doesn't, try changing rfcomm channel to 1)

Already had the correct bluetooth address in the dialog
. I changed the rfcomm address as well but I didn't notice any change in the configuration/functionality in phonelink.

Is E51 a Symbian S60 3rd gen phone ?
if so, you're out of luck : Gnokii supports only 2nd gen S60 phone through GNApplet ...

Simply go to control panel and describe your phone (BT Address and model) you can even ask gnokii to identify your phone for you !
Please give it a try and tell me ...
