has anyone been having problems refreshing application manager? maemo hackers has been failing for weeks now.

Its set up right:

Almost always have a problem refreshing the repositories (at least one generally fails). Try again later and it may well work.

Confidence level for how well / long these things are going to hold up over time is somewhere around 5 when I am feeling optimistic :-) :-(.
