Hi there, I installed x terminal and becomeroot but

is the app called X Terminal and the icon is a blackboard with a white dollar sign?

I need to follow these instructions
http://www.internettablettalk.com/fo...3&postcount=13

But I read in another thread that you need to type this code
http://www.internettablettalk.com/fo...39&postcount=4

In order to do anything else and follow the previous instructions.

Thanks

Yes, the X Terminal application has a terminal screen (not a blackboard) with a user prompt (dollar sign) on it as its icon.

Yes, osso-xterm is called "X Terminal". It's icon is actually a caricature of a terminal window; big window with black background and light text, and the $ is the traditional command prompt for non-root users.

I don't really understand your question. If you've installed becomeroot, you should be able to sudo gainroot, then remove that directory Brian mentioned.
