Yo!

I had not been able to view videos from Canola for a while, but I had initially thought that it was my installation of KDE that mussed something. But, today, I reflashed my N810 and installed Canola and then Mplayer from te repositories. I get sound from my movies, still no video. I ran "canola" from x-term and all it returned when I played a video was

ERROR ui:240:_get_pos() Error getting initial position: 'NoneType' object is unsubscriptable

They play fine from "Mplayer" under extras, and I did try many different formats from Canola (mp4, avi, flv) and all produce the same effect, they play the sound, but the video stays black.

Thanks a lot

Just want to report that I reflashed my tablet without restoring anything, and videos now work with Mplayer installed from Extras. Now to re-install everything...

(Love the youtube plug-in and the blue theme, Marcelo, btw)

Thanks Aisu for the feedback on this, it's really sad that we still need to resort to " clean " components to solve problems. I just need to thank you so much for using your time to fix it yourself :/ we promise that we will always try to solve it if possible in our side!

I will spread the kudos for the whole team We also like the blue theme ))
