i typed in teh mac address a billion different ways i could think of, and it keeps telling me i have the wrong one. its the 12 digit mac inside the cover, and in the OS menu. Will not work. Is there another link the latest OS2008 firmware? thanks.

Maybe you are going to the incorrect OS version....???? I did that once, did notice until the third try...I am kind of slow sometimes...that or many to many type-o's on my part....Also, if you connect with the flasher it will download the current version....PM me if you still have issues...

i used the flash loaded and it worked. But now im trying to get the N800 to connect to the internet via my Laptops bluetooth, but haven't got it. I tried useing Bluetooth PAN but i crashes the N800 and resets it. what up with that?

Infact you can turn the build in wireless network card of your laptop into a wifi router ,and that would be much faster than bluetooth.
