Being somewhat tired of not being able to play streaming content in MediaStreamer, content that would play ok in mplayer, but with long command lines to type in xterm, I recompiled and packaged the uPnP control for mplayer for OS 2007. It runs quite ok on my 770 w/ OS2007HE .
I can browse the shared media using the MediaStreamer, and launch it and control it in mplayer, using MediaStreamer's interface, with renderer set to the upnp renderer. mplayer really rocks on 770.
You can find packages for OS2007 here. You need to start it in xterm though - these are quite bleeding edge yet, and may experience crashes, so no auto start for now.
You'll need to install libuiiid1 and libupnp, also found at the same location.
Feedback, plz.

Hi,

downloaded deb package from your link
http://sandel.homeip.net/debs/
and it doesn't seem to be installable under OS2007HE.
Any other web link valid ?

Tried hard as my Media Streamer suddenly stopped to work.
loading - loading - loading
and closed
