I'm having troubles booting from my internal mmc card with cloned os2008. It has worked fine for several mounths. But now I shut down my N800 and removed the card and put it in an xp machine (stupid me), to transfer some files. I have a small fat and a big ext2 partition on the card.

Once I did put my card back in my N800 it would just restart when I selected the internal mmc to boot from. I managed to boot with internal flash and mount the partition once... The card works fine in my ubuntu machine and seam intact but something in a boot sector or the like seams to be gone.

Someone that has any idea?

boot to flash and run fsck on the device /dev/mmcblk0p2 (or whatever)

fsck -y /dev/mmcblk0p2

get fsck with e2fsprogs if you dont have it

apt-get install e2fsprogs

Go to my cloning thread, look at fsck info in Post #2. It might help.
