There are thousands and thousands of fake Nokias, Motos, Ipods etc in China, they seem to fake anything there. Ebay's full of them.

The sick thing is that sometimes the fakes are better than the real ones, or at least have features that the real ones should've had. Like radio tuners for one...

not a chance in the world are the cheap clones any better. I don't care what features they tout.

My car most likely has less cup holders than yours but that means nothing to me. I have the real thing and believe it sucks less than yours.

chinese crap no matter what feature is listed is just that, crap.

aparently there is a saying in shanghi that goes " we can counterfit anything except your grandmother" i think china quality is good these days.

It's not so much the quality that's the problem but the compatibility. I've never seen a fake Nokia that actually runs the same software or apps as a real Nokia. Fakes are always some completely different kind of device placed in a Nokia-like casing.

These hardware counterfeiters do the same with consoles, you get bizarre mixtures like SNES clones in Playstation casings.
