I was just woundering why the nokia 810 is so highly priced. it just has a pull out keyboard and gps built in but it shouldnt be 230$ above the orginal internet tablet

I think the N800 was originally released at $399 last year.

GPS, slide keyboard, transflective screen, 2 GB internal memory

If Nokia is phasing out the N800, I hope they drop the price on the N810 quickly. I did see a 10% or so price drop from a distributor the other day, but I'd like to see Nokia get the N810 below $300.

And one minus removable media storage and one ****** miniSD storage and a micro USB connector, a hidden Dpad .

because thats the price people are willing to pay for it. - should nokia offer it for less if it sells?

Right! Which is why I (will) have two N800s instead of one N810. Plus the keyboard doesn't have all the keys a standard keyboard has and I heard the GPS is sub-par.

While I rarely use it, I bought (for under $40) an iGo Stowaway Bluetooth keyboard for pairing with both my N800s, and could buy a Bluetooth GPS device to pair with my N800s for ~$50 (I heard the QSTARZ BT-Q816 32 Channel Bluetooth GPS Receiver works great).

Add $90 to a N800 and it's still cheaper than a N810 with integrated GPS\keyboard.
